Reflections Due Soon

- Our Top Seller for the Little Caesar's Pizza Kit fundraiser will receive a FLY 365 Pass, and the runner up a 90-day pass, from SKYZONE!

PIE Nights

What is a PIE night? 

Partners in Education nights are scheduled days where Lewis Elementary receives a kick-back from the organization for our families coming in and enjoying dinner out. 

We have PIE nights with the following local businesses:
- Chick-fil-A
- LoriBell's
- Sparkles
- Uncle Maddios

Mark your calendars and enjoy dinner out (or a fun night skating) with other Lewis families! Don't forget to mention you're with Lewis!!!

Reflections

Do your children love art, music and dance, or have an interest in writing, producing films or taking photos? Then give them an awesome way to unleash their inner artist with PTA Reflections! 

This year's theme is "Heroes Around Me", and calls for their very own unique interpretation through the arts. They can pick up submission guidelines and entry forms from the board in the main school hallway and return entries and forms to the basket next to the Media Center by the deadline of October 1, 2018.

Kona Ice Truck Dates

The Kona Ice truck comes once a month - and as a parent, that takes planning. Who has cash on them anymore, amiright?

Typically, the truck comes the 1st Wednesday of every month, but for you calendar folks - here are the first few scheduled dates:
- Sept. 5
- Oct. 3
- Nov. 7

August 29th is an early release day!

Family Fun Night

Family Fun Night is tonight from 6-8pm on the track behind the school (same place as the Fall Festival).  There will be bounce houses, bubbles, face painting, hair streaking, tattoos and lots more.  Everything but the food is free!  Chick-fil-A and Kona Ice will be there.  Bring your family and a picnic blanket and relax.  Can't wait to see you!

Laps for Lewis Envelopes Due Friday!

Friday, March 30th, is the last day to turn in your Laps for Lewis money in order to be included in the drawings for awesome prizes!  

Your student can hand their envelopes to a PTSA member at the front desk or drop them in the PTSA box.  Remember, everyone who brings in their pledge money gets a free pedometer!

The Lewis Elementary PTSA is offering 2 scholarships this year, each for $500, to graduating seniors who attended Lewis for at least 3 years.  The application deadline is today, February 8.

Tonight from 5-8pm is PTSA Night at McDonald's!  Get out there, eat some yummy food and support our Lewis Lions!

We love Box Tops!

We collect Box Tops all year long, so if you've got them - send them in.

  

We'd appreciate it if you could make sure the expiration date is intact as well as the letter code in the top left (we can't turn in any box tops without the date and code).  

If you don't have time to run your box tops into the school, just stick them in an envelope and put it in your child's school folder.

Pizza and Bingo Night!!!!

This Friday, Jan 26th from 6:00-8:00pm

This is a Lewis Elementary PTSA event, so it will be free for Lewis PTSA members.  If you're not a member yet, you can sign up and pay your $5 membership fee at the door.

Doors will open at 6:00pm with pizza and music (dancing encouraged).

There will be a small number of pizzas available to buy the night of, but please pre-order your pizza if you can.  (Pre-order form sent out in Thursday folders)

The PTSA will hold a short meeting wherein current PTSA members will vote on a PTSA nominating committee.  

At 7:00pm, Bingo Begins!!!

Each Lewis PTSA member will receive a free packet of 3 bingo cards. 

There will be 3 rounds of Bingo (depending on time) and make sure you stay for that 3rd round because that’s when the BIG prizes come out!

Bingo is free for current Lewis PTSA members.

Food will be available for purchase.
